Interdistrict Transfer Application forms for the remainder of the 2020-2021 school year are available below.
Interdistrict Transfer Process
Once received, it may take up to thirty (30) days to process the forms. Parent(s)/Guardians(s) will be informed of the application outcome via mail.
For San Bruno residents wishing to transfer to a different school district (Interdistrict Transfer out of San Bruno): Please fill out the Interdistrict Transfer Request form and submit to the San Bruno Park District Office. Forms are processed and approved according to adopted Board Policy criteria.
For residents of other districts wishing to attend school in San Bruno (Interdistrict Transfer into San Bruno): You must first obtain approval from your home district via their Interdistrict Transfer process. Once your application is approved, the home district will forward a copy of the approved application to San Bruno Park School District. Forms are processed and approved according to adopted Board Policy criteria.
Intradistrict Transfer Process
Intradistrict transfers are For San Bruno residents who would like their child(ren) to attend a school within San Bruno Park School District other than their assigned school. Applications will be accepted from January 25 - April 30, 2021. No forms will be processed while the application window is open. After the application window closes, it may take up to thirty (30) days to determine available spaces and process the forms. Parent(s)/Guardians(s) will be informed of the application outcome via mail. If applications received exceed available spaces in the requested grade level, a random lottery will be conducted, and remaining applicants will be placed on a waitlist. Waitlisted families will be notified of their status after the first ten days of the 2021-2022 school year, once opening enrollment has been finalized and additional seats have been identified.
