Allen & Belle Air Community School Family Invites
2nd Harvest: Monthly food drive service for the SBPSD community from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. The dates are September 24, October 22, November 26, December 24, January 28, February 25, March 25, April 29, May 27, and June 24.
Yosra Abid, Attorney At Law: Quarterly immigration workshops for the SBPSD community on November 7th, January 23rd, April 10th.
San Mateo Adult Education (ESL classes): Daily ELL classes are Monday–Friday from 9:00 AM to 11:45 AM. Evening classes on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
YMCA Case Management: Biweekly on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM, providing community resources, financial empowerment, mental health and wellness, housing assistance, and parent workshops. The dates are September 17th & 24th, October 8th and 22nd, November 5th and 19th, December 10th and 17th, January 7th and 21st, February 11th and 25th, and March 11th & 25th.
YMCA Parents’ Wellness Workshop: Tuesdays from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM on October 8th, 15th, 22nd, and 29th, and November 5th and 12th.
Peninsula Food Runners: Food drive every Monday at Allen Elementary and every Tuesday at Belle Air Elementary at noon for community families.
Mobilize Love: Every Tuesday at 3 PM at the Belle Air campus: food, library, stage, stories, and a mobile health clinic for the Belle Air and Allen Elementary communities.
CORA Services: Providing support for those affected by intimate partner abuse, including counseling, emergency housing, and legal assistance. Sessions are from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM on September 16th, September 30th, October 7th, October 21st, November 4th, November 18th, December 2nd, and December 16th.
Cafe with Rosa at Belle Air Community Center: 9:00–10:15 AM on the last Tuesday of every month. Ms. Rosa Morales is a pillar of the San Bruno community. For more than 20 years, she has called San Bruno home. Her children attended SBPSD schools, and she continues to be an integral part of our community schools. We invite you to come break bread with Rosa, connect with neighbors, and share what’s on your mind.
