Transfers
Trasfer Applications can be submitted online starting on January 13th through March 12th. See more information about transfer types below.
Applications must be submitted via online by 4:00 p.m. on March 12th. Late applications will not be accepted. Failure of the parent to meet any timelines established by this web site and Board Policy is deemed to be an abandonment of the request.
NOTE: SBPSD cannot accept emailed, faxed, or photos of applications. Applications are available online.

Interdistrict Transfer Process
Once received, parent(s)/Guardians(s) will be informed of the application outcome via email through Informed K12.
New students must register at their assigned school of residence to obtain and ENROLLMENT ID for new transfer request.
For San Bruno residents wishing to transfer to a different school district (Interdistrict Transfer out of San Bruno), please fill out the Interdistrict Transfer Request form online. Forms are processed and approved according to adopted Board Policy criteria.
SBPSD will notify parent/guardian of its final decision within the following timeframes:
For an Interdistrict Transfer request received by SBPSD more than 15 days before the commencement of instruction in the school year for which the transfer is sought, SBPSD will notify the parent/guardian of its final decision as soon as possible, but no later than 11 calendar days after the beginning of instruction in the school year for which the Interdistrict Transfer is sought.
For an Interdistrict Transfer request received by SBPSD 15 or fewer days before the beginning of instruction in the school year for which the transfer is sought, SBPSD will notify the parent/guardian of its final decision within 30 calendar days from the date the request was received.
For residents of other districts wanting to attend school in San Bruno (Interdistrict Transfer into San Bruno), you must first obtain approval from your home district via their Interdistrict Transfer process. Once your application is approved, the home district will forward a copy of the approved application to the San Bruno Park School District. Forms are processed according to adopted Board Policy criteria.

Intradistrict Transfer Process
Intradistrict transfers are for San Bruno residents who would like their child(ren) to attend a school within the San Bruno Park School District other than their assigned school. Once received, parent(s)/Guardians(s) will be informed of the application outcome via email through Informed K12.
New students must register at their assigned school of residence to obtain and ENROLLMENT ID.
