About the Board of Trustees

The Board is an elected body that is responsible for the governance of the school district. The Board is a legal agent of the State of California and must comply with federal and state mandates. The Board represents the citizens of the community. As a legislative body, the Board develops, evaluates, and oversees educational policy. The Board is an advocate for the students in the District and is responsible for providing them with an enriched learning environment.
